Investment Choice
What investment choice is there?
A SIPP is designed to provide a much greater investment choice than a simple personal pension, or workplace scheme.
Working alongside a firm of award-winning Discretionary Fund Managers, the Group SIPP gives access to a wide range of different investment options.
Investment portfolios
The Group SIPP has access to 17 multi-fund, risk-graded portolios, to suit your individual investment aims, cost and ethical requirements. The portfolios both widen the investment opportunity and spread the investment risk, compared to using individual funds.
When you are enrolled, your contributions will be allocated by default to the “Passive Moderate Portfolio”. This is a low-cost portfolio, with a medium risk-profile that is suitable for the majority of members.
The member portal has detailed information on each of the portfolios, and you may choose to change your portfolio at any time. You should take into account various factors, such as your attitude to investment risk, ethical concerns, the length of time that your money will be invested and whether you take an active interest in investment matters.
Changes to your portfolio must be actioned by Corpad, as the scheme advisers – please contact us to discuss your requirements.
Please note that changing the allocation of your investments will affect the future returns on your accumulated pension funds. If you are unsure, we recommend that you discuss any proposed changes with a suitably qualified adviser, before proceeding.
Sharia and cash funds
The Group SIPP has specific funds for these 2 options:
Sharia fund – available to everyone but specifically designed for people who wish to align their investments with the principles of the Islamic faith.
Cash fund – for protection of capital or as a short-term investment option.
The self-select option
The platform technology enables access to the full UK fund universe. The self-select facility is currently being finalised and will be released soon. This will then give you the ability to select specific investments or to build your own bespoke portfolio.
